The research and development center in Sofia is the first one which the leading manufacturer of electric motors and components for the automotive and other industries opens in Europe. The official opening ceremony in Sofia Airport Center was attended by the President of Bulgaria Mr, Rumen Radev, H.E. Hiroshi Narahira, Ambassador of Japan to Bulgaria, the mayor of Sofia Municipality Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova and many others who welcomed the establishment of the center. Japan-Bulgaria Business Association was specially invited and was represented by the deputy chairman of the Management Board Stamen Bankovski and Todor Kesimov, member of the Management Board of JBBA.
