On 5 June 2024 JBBA hosted a meeting with Mrs Sawaka Takazaki, JETRO Director General for Romania, covering also Bulgaria, Mr Vladimir Kanev, JETRO Resident Agent in Bulgaria, Mr Kei Taneda, First Secretary Economic Section in Embassy of Japan in Bulgaria and Kento Muraki, Attache for Cultural Affairs in Embassy of Japan in Bulgaria. The meeting was focused on strengthening business ties and fostering economic growth between Japan and Bulgaria.
Mr Todor Kesimov, Chair of JBBA, and the representatives of JETRO and the Embassy of Japan in Bulgaria identified key areas of mutual interest and discussed plans to facilitate closer cooperation through joint initiatives.
